Why Raw Milk?

I thought I had lactose intolerance. I was told raw milk was dangerous and full of bacteria. I drank soy milk for years because it was healthier. I guess that is what I love about doing research and being open to being wrong.

Let's talk raw milk. As milk production grew during industrialization here in America, dairy was not being produced at high standards and people were getting sick (yes from the dangerous bacteria). If you cook the milk it kills the bacteria. But if you cook the milk you destroy the nutrients too.

Rather than addressing the root of the problem (such as unsanitary conditions and the health of the animals) they pasteurized (cooked) the milk.

To counter the lack of nutrients of the pasteurized milk, they started adding synthetic vitamins and back in. Our bodies do not know how to process synthetic vitamins and shunts it to the tissues where it builds up over time and isn't used as it is needed. That is why we need to get our vitamins from food (and why when I take supplements I take food grade supplements).

The raw milk being produced today by most local farmers is not done in the same way it was when it was making people sick. We know so much more today and can use that to benefit our health.

When you drink raw milk from a trusted source you are getting
✨Real vitamins D and A
✨ A natural probiotic
✨ Better nutrient absorption
✨ Necessary minerals
✨ Balances gut issues
✨ High in "good" fats and fatty acids

Since reintroducing this back into my diet I feel like my immune system is healthier, my nails are stronger, and overall I just feel better. I will also add if I am at a cafe I do opt for almond milk over pasteurized milk - just a personal preference that works for me.

I don't have lactose intolerance, I have pasteurization and synthetic vitamin intolerance. I am guessing that you do too.

Thank you to my milk farmer showing me the way ♥️
