Hi! I’m Lesha….
Sometimes we have layers of trauma, conditioning, attachment tendencies, and birth imprints blocking us from connecting with our bodies and understanding how to listen. Most of us experiencing stress and dysregulation don’t even realize that it’s a problem. We just assume that this is how life is supposed to be lived and that there isn’t a different way. We fail to realize that trauma, conditioning, a dysregulated nervous system, not listening to our bodies, and birthing blueprints are what’s stopping us.
That’s where I come in. Knowing that we are multidimensional and complex human beings, I use a blend of all my years of training, including occupational therapy, psychosomatics, yoga, craniosacral therapy, integral facilitation, emotional clearing, and family constellations to look at the complex human that is you. There is no “one thing” for everyone, and that requires me to use my innate wisdom and somatics to guide you to listen to what you need.
I have walked this path too. I did not always listen to my intuition or inner knowing. As a child, I shut it down and learned to ignore my body. I have spent years working through my own conditioning, birthing imprints, and attachment patterns to gain resiliency and security with myself and in my relationships. I have found and remembered all the pieces of myself that I had forgotten or lost, the ones who knew joy without ever having to try, the kid with a hidden sense of humor and sarcasm. The kid that loved having fun and experiencing the world. Now, I can confidently claim all parts of myself: certified goofball, book and science nerd, deeply playful and intuitive, sensual womb woman, and athletic tomboy.
Working with me feels like a place where you can trust the integrity of my work and feel seen and heard in your own unique experiences. I’m transparent and here to remind you that you have all the answers. I love supporting women to connect with their bodies, wombs, and babies all while better understanding their own nervous systems. I believe that when we are more attune to our bodies and babies, and when mothers are supported though all aspects of birth the world will change.
Want to know my WHOLE story and how it came to be that I work with birth and somatic trauma resolution? It all started in a moment of desperation when I was working as an Occupational Therapist. Lost and sitting in the snow, I started to pray to the Universe. I said I was confused and I was ready. I was ready to do what was best for me no matter what that looked like. That I would listen to its prompts without question. I took a big sigh and skied down the mountain and the rest is history that led me to today.

Pre and Perinatal Somatics:
A year long certification that deepened my understanding of somatic processing and how emotions are stored in the body. This specific certification was designed around preconception, conception, pregnancy, birth and postpartum care for mom and baby. Somatic Trauma Resolution seeks to help you become more aware of your states, your history, and the health in your system. We focus on how you feel in your body and help you to understand what you body is telling you. The levels of inquiry and presence that we bring to your sessions can be over zoom or in person. Pre and perinatal work looks to address all your layers of experience, starting with preconception and how genetics and epigenetics may play a role. We address the deep and beautiful mysteries that happen during pregnancy where the earliest development happens. If there is difficulty of any kind in utero, it may not show up until we are young adults. Birth is remembered by our bodies and may dictate how we build relationships with our parents and families. If there was a birth trauma, separation at birth, illnesses and challenges in our environment in birth and postpartum, it can play a role in our development, our nervous system, and our relationship. Pre and perinatal somatic work looks to address all of this no matter what stage you are in.
Craniosacral Therapy:
Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on therapy that facilitates the body's natural ability to heal. It releases tension in the central nervous system. The entire body can relax, self-correct, and improve whole body health and performance. I work with the pulse rate of the Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF), or the fluid that surrounds the brain and spinal cord. I then find and release restrictions in the body. This fluid protects our brain and spinal cord and interacts with all other systems and functions of the body. By releasing restrictions in the brain and spinal cord, the body and it's systems perform at their best. It eliminates pain and stress, bolsters resistance to disease, and enhances health and well-being. This is also where I mentored with Somatics and have trained for over 10 years with the somatic process.
Occupational Therapy:
I’m licensed and certified as an Occupational Therapist. I have practiced for 8 years on the neuro-rehabilitation unit at a local hospital in both pediatrics and adults. OT provides a unique perspective to analyze habits, roles, environments, and the person. It focuses on the rehabilitation of the person through activity analysis and/or environmental adaptation. Through this work, I have undergone in depth neuroscience training, anatomy, and rehabilitation of all body systems.
Family Constellations:
Many of us unconsciously “take on” destructive family patterns such as anxiety, depression, guilt, anger, addiction, and even illness as a way to “belong” to our family’s way of being. Family Constellations allow us to break these patterns so that we can live healthier, happier, more fulfilled lives. In a moment of insight, a new life course can be set in motion. The results can be life-changing.
This certification was a 9 month process where I journeyed through the womb gates and learned how to hold space for others desiring the same journey. We address the emotional and physical imprints we store in our wombs, connect more to our bodies, and connect more deeply with the divine feminine within. This process can help with a ride range of desires from conception to being more creative to allowing more sensual expression.
Womb Gates:
Emotional Clearing:
This is a technique used to release baggage, emotional blocks, old stories, and narratives through muscle testing. I use the fundamentals of the chakra system, spiral dynamics, levels of consciousness, Chinese meridians, kinesiology, and NLP. If we do any emotional clearing in our sessions I will always ask your permission and explain what I am doing.
PsychosomaticS:
Psychosomatics is the process in which the emotional body reveals itself in the physical body. It is the study of what your body is trying to tell you through physical symptoms. Conditioning from a young age can also lend into how you stand, how your face is shaped, and even how your feet look. Your body tells a story of your traumas! I have studied with the Lightworker Institute to better understand my own physical symptoms and what my body is communicating to me. I use this work to dive deeper into your past traumas, your alignment and posture, and past conditioning all through physical symptoms and the language you use.
Integral Facilitation Certified:
Integral Theory is a complex theory started by Ken Wilbur that attempts to integrate the entire human wisdom into one worldwide view. Based on human development and Spiral Dynamics, Integral theory posits that evolution is not limited to the exterior forms of reality (matter and organisms), but is also evident in the interior spaces of reality. This then affects the development of culture and consciousness. As we clear emotional blocks we move up the scale of human consciousness. As we become more embodied internally we hold more compassion and space for others externally.
I completed the Integral Facilitator® Certification through Ten Directions in June 2018. This is a professional training program that combines masterful facilitation, Integral theory, developmental psychology, coaching and Zen awareness.
Yoga, Meditation + Ayurveda:
Ayurveda means the science of life. Dating over 5,000 years it is one branch of the yogic system. Other branches include asana (what we know in America as traditional yoga class), and meditation. I first discovered Ayurveda when I was sick and traditional Western medicine was not working. I worked on healing my body through Ayurveda, meditation, and embodiment practices. I started meditating, eating differently, slowing down, and tuning in to my inner self. When I was better I quit my job at the hospital and went full time into my bodywork practice. I certified as a 200 hour yoga teacher about two years later. I have studied over 100 hours of training in Ayurveda with the Ayurvedic Institute and one on one with Kyle Roberts, an Ayurvedic practitioner.
Yoga has taught me the importance of breath with movement, slowing down, and quieting the mind. Ayurveda has taught me the way to eat according to my body type (dosha), the time of year, and increase balance in my health. Meditation is the most powerful resource I have found to embody myself and listen to my heart.
